I love my work and am honored and privileged to celebrate in the success and heroic achievements of my clients. Thank you for checking out my website.
In 2003, I shifted my life's focus from a successful sales and marketing career working with Fortune 500 Companies, to fulfill a personal goal of helping others to grow and reach their fullest potential.
I completed a Master's Program in Psychology from Chapman University and took up an internship with a County Mental Health Agency working with the chronic, mentally ill. I moved up through the ranks of that Agency to hold the position of Director of Outpatient Services, including the management of an outpatient clinic. I became a licensed, Marriage and Family Therapist in 2008.
I have developed a successful method of bridging the skills of business leadership to the practice of mental health. With individuals, couples and families alike, I am experienced at collaborating with multiple systems, identifying shared issues and objectives, and designing joint goals and directions.
My therapeutic modality combines a Solution-Focused approach with Family Systems and Dialectic and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
The concept of making a life change is difficult for most of us to consider. As we move forward through our lives, we may experience challenges, successes, requests and information, which lead to the creation of our beliefs systems, life patterns, automatic thoughts and unknown obstacles and opportunities.
Stuck in our dead-end jobs, unhappy in current relationships, and unsure of where to go next, what do we do? We may become comfortable...Even when we know things in our lives are just not working and we are certain we want to change... It may be the fear, embarrassment or sadness of making changes that keeps us from moving forward to create the life that we so deeply want.
We have a tremendous capacity for living with pain and heartache in our daily lives. Once this pain and heartache becomes no longer bearable, that is when we decide to act. That is when we re-examine our choices, make life changes, and experience personal healing. Although this is never an easy time, it is an opportunity filled with the potential of great personal power.
Together, through authentic, honest and caring reflection, we can problem-solve and we can face life challenges. We can grow, discover, and build new skills. We can make positive changes that will make a difference in your life and the lives of the people we love.
Remember: PS…Change Is Good.
